Ukrainian cbank revokes license from VTB local unit

MOSCOW, Dec 19 (PRIME) -- The National Bank of Ukraine has decided to revoke a banking license from the local unit of Russia’s second biggest lender VTB Bank, the regulator said on its website on Wednesday.

“At the suggestion of the Deposit Guarantee Fund, the National Bank of Ukraine decided on December 18, 2018 (Tuesday) to revoke a banking license and liquidate VTB Bank,” the statement said.

In late November, the regulator found the Ukrainian unit of VTB Bank insolvent.
